SUMMARY.
Fictionalized account of the last days of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain starring Michael Pitt, Lukas Haas and Kim Gordon. Written, produced and directed by Gus Van Sant.
MY TAKE.
Very slow with intensely long shots and limited dialogue, this is def not a film for everyone. Pitt delivers a pretty great performance including the highlight (for me) of the film for me, an original song written and performed by the actor, Death to Birth.
