Review of Last Chance Harvey (2008) by Hatem M — 15 Aug 2009

I thought this was a great sweet romantic movie about 2 different people, each with their very own set of life's problems, who make a somewhat instant connection and spend an entire day just talking and getting to know each other.

Harvey, played by Dustin Hoffman, is a dried-up, divorced music writer for commercials who's only daughter is getting married in England. Kate, played by Emma Thompson, is a lonely middle-aged single with a mother who worries.

Both give excellent performances and definitely deserved the nominations they had received for them. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes Dustin Hoffman or Emma Thompson or who likes a good romantic movie.
