In life you will find movies that can never be described as anything but 'meh'. This is one of those movies. It drags along slowly, with nothing really going on but a glimpse of two ordinary people going through a mildly emotional period in each of their lives.

.. but by the end I just didn't care enough about them. It's not that they or the film were unlikable, it was just all so bland. Also, I couldn't really feel sorry for the Dustin Hoffman character, just turning up to his daughter's wedding does not magically make him a good father, so that storyline just felt uncomfortable to watch.
