I think I'm going to give up trying to write any kind of review for movies on Flixster any more. There are far better movie reviewers on here than me! Read Eric Fuerst's review. I agree with it wholeheartedly!

While this movie left a lot to be desired, it still managed to make me cry, but that's because I can identify with Emma Thompson's character so much and that Emma is just so fabulous. She has the ability to show every emotion imaginable on her face and I just love her. She does steal this movie from Dustin Hoffman but he certainly doesn't embarrass himself. These two excellent actors deserved a much better script.
