This comedy-drama-romance movie is like Before Sunrise for older versions. It's the American Dreamer (Dustin Hoffman) versus the self-deprecating Brit (Emma Thompson) - and they make a good pair.
Hoffman is an enjoyable lead, gleaning laughs from trivial misfortunes such as a security tag still attached to a suit jacket. But it's Thompson who really shines, imbuing every line with depth and pathos.
A wonderfully story and a stellar cast make this film a must-see for those who like a touch of reality and heart in their drama.
