Review of Last Chance Harvey (2008) by Lauri L — 26 Feb 2010

Mediocre material lifted substantially by its two leads, who flesh out their characters with warmth and humility. To their credit, they make this feather-light story work. Its watchable in an unbelievable way, not exactly laugh out loud, and contrived mostly, but it passes 90 mins without offending too much.

Can't help but think that Thompson and Hoffman are punching below their weight with this one, though.
