This turned out to be a really decent movie. Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson have great on-screen chemistry and James Brolin...man can he get any better looking???
Dustin Hoffman's portrayal of a man who is for all intents and purposes alone was realistic and moving. He is a man who is in London for his daughter's wedding only to discover she wants her stepfather to walk her down the aisle. The look on his face when she tells him that really got to me. He's on the verge of losing his job back in New York and when he meets Emma Thompson's character, it doesn't take long to realize these two lost souls have more in common than either of them realize.
