Don't care what anybody says, I liked this movie when it came out, and it still holds up now. fun action, cheesy lines, hilarious nods to other films (notably the police station scene) and other arnie films, plus him blatantly making fun of himself.
it seems like him and mctiernan called in some help from friends, and I believe it payed off.
