Review of Last Action Hero (1993) by Scott P — 17 Feb 2009
It's a shame this film was a bomb at the box office. A record setting bomb If I am correct. This comes from many people simply not understanding the jokes and expecting a standard Arnold movie. Arnold is making fun of himself the entire film and successfully I might add.
How many actors have done that? If you're in the film business and/or love Schwarzenegger films, this movie will have you laughing until your body explodes from nerve gas. Although, I am quite perplexed by the gold trash cans in the background of the scene when Slater's friend betrays him.
