Review of Last Action Hero (1993) by Ross D — 10 Dec 2009
I used to love this movie. it's a lot of fun although I don't remember the details.
(2 years later...).
I watched it again and its not as awesome as I remember. I really like the story in that the kid goes inside a movie and then the actor come into real life. There are alot of funny parts where they make fun of movie cliches, this is probably the most redeeming factor in the film. For instance, Slater plays Hamlet and he says, "To be or not to be... Not to be." And then he blows up some dude. I really don't know when a person would be at a good time in their life to watch this movie, maybe if you are high.
