Review of Last Action Hero (1993) by Tim C — 04 Jan 2010

I remember seeing Ahnuld in an interview before this movie saying something like "This is going to be the greatest movie ever, it's going to make tons of money", and it's almost like movie goers of the world collectively said "Oh yeah?" I guess he needed a reality check after T2.

That said, I don't think this movie is horrible, but that doesn't make it good. Charles Dance is the only really good thing about this movie, he really shines as a the real villain struggling to hide his contemptuous opinion of his boss. The pokes at Hollywood were fun too, but ultimately it's just not a good film. Oh, and that brat of a kid was annoying as hell.
