Review of Last Action Hero (1993) by Kj P — 12 Feb 2010
Coming from the director (Die Hard, Predator) who made the action genre strong comes a parody of the genre. I enjoyed the parody aspect of this alot, especially with one of film genre's leading stars to parody, well himself.
The only thing that just annoyed me about this film was that it seemed a bit childish which brought away some intention of persuasion to consider it an action parody. But it was alot of fun and very creative.
Only thing is that they maybe should've used a teen instead of preteen to cast the role of the child. But the fiom exagerrates its gimmick to much without actually trying to follow through with as a movie.
Overall, an enjoyable picture and comes in recommended.
