Review of Last Action Hero (1993) by Gary E — 10 Mar 2010
One of my favourite Arnie movies, though it is difficult to choose a best. I know it was panned by critics on release, but critics have no idea what makes a good movie anyway.
It has everything a good action movie should, over the top explosions, witty one liners, Arnie, big guns, fast cars, a hot female, and a great cheesy villian.
The great twist about this film is it mostly takes place within a film, until the film spills out onto the real streets of america.
