"Purple Rose of Cairo" for the dumb action movie set, with a really annoying kid instead of a lonely housewife. Most of the jokes land with a thud. Highlights: Charles Dance's glass-eyed villain and an original AC/DC song on the soundtrack ("Big Gun").
