Review of Lassie Come Home (1943) by Moe J — 23 Feb 2010
Lassie Come Home isn't the greatest film ever, but it was worth watching. I thought Roddy McDowall was a cute little kid and Lassie was a beautiful dog. I thought it was fun watching the dog escape each time it was put in Elizabeth Taylor's home.
However, I didn't understand why the dog had to leave. Well, it has been a few years since I've seen the film, but I bet it will tell me in the movie. I think that this is a film for people who like films about animals and a kid trying to cope without his wonderful, loving dog.
