The fact that I, like Rob below, also have a Sheltie, has nothing to do with the fact that I think this is a great family film. No, really. Lassie doesn't remind me of my dog at all. I swear.
It's not a remake of the original movie from the 1940s; it's a re-adaptation of the same book. And the dog IS an amazing canine actor. :) Good performances by Hester Thrale and Peter Dinklage, particularly.
