Review of Laserblast (1978) by James H — 18 Apr 2010
Super silly and painfully stupid at times, but I gotta give Charles Band some credit cuz Laserblast is a lot of fun. Two fairly cool looking stop motion animated Space Turtles forget their ray gun on Earth and hijinks ensue when an open shirted Mark Hamil wannabe gets his mits up in it.
And I might be the only sane man on the planet to think this, but I love it when Eddie Deezen screeches his way on screen. Genius in 1941. genius in Critters 2. Genius in Laserblast. But maybe the best way to watch this movie is with those Mystery Science Theater 3000 fellas.
