Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Alexs — 08 Aug 2011
Gosling once again proves that he's one of the greatest actors of his generation. He's equally subtle and charming in this funny, touching and rewarding movie. It's undoubtedly a risky premise and yet it never fails to move and amuse it's audience.
It's a portrait of a quiet and lonely man that finds happiness in a blow-up doll. The script is very strong and the characters are completely believable.
