Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Jenny U — 04 Dec 2010
I was hesitant to approach a film about a guy who falls in love with a sex doll, but this movie was actually really charming and endearing. I love how the director wanted to show how compassionate the townspeople were to Lars' mental illness, and how they excepted his eccentricity as just a part of who he is.
