Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Ian P — 24 Nov 2011
This was a well done, entertaining film. It contains great performances by Gosling (I thought this was actually more worthy of an oscar nod than Half Nelson and I liked that performance), Mortimer, Garner and Schneider.
The thing that struck me the most was the reaction/actions of the town's people. I thought that their actions were a great illustration of showing love to those who are different and what a transforming effect this can have, both on the person being shown love and the one who is showing it.
