Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Josh O — 20 Jan 2012
A comedy without any jokes, and thats because it takes its premise seriously which is what creates the laughs. Ryan Gosling is simply fantastic in this movie and in a role that is totally unexpected. A really different and quirky movie with a lot of heart and tenderness about it even though it does leave you sad at certain times.
Good movie and I would recommend it.
