Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Rachel A — 24 Jun 2012
Ryan Gosling may be the hottest celeb at the in Hollywood at the moment, but I think what people forget is that he has some serious acting chops. If you haven't seen Half Nelson, you need to right away! But that's a different review for another day.
This film had good intentions, and for the most part I enjoyed all of them. At some points I lost interest and almost dozed off, but besides that it was a good comedy with some serious points mixed in.
I'm starting to come to the conclusion that Ryan Gosling chooses unattractive roles so that people start focusing more on his acting and less on his handsome looks.
