Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Emma D — 21 Oct 2012
Lars and the Real Girl should be so wrong but somehow Craig Gillespie has made a timeless, bittersweet and thought-provoking comedy-drama which is headed with some truly outstanding performances. The script is pretty great too if you are mature enough to look past the slightly strange plot.
Gosling and Patricia Clarkson are perfect in it.
