We saw this at the local library and had also heard some interesting reviews. So we, well, went into this sort of dreamy strange world with this film. I thought it would be more slapstick or goofy... and it did have some very funny parts.

.. but it went in directions that you might not expect. I will leave it at that in case you actually plan to see it. Let me just say that I appreciated the many times the film pulled back and didn't go for the obvious over-the-top gag.
