Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Orlok W — 31 Dec 2012
It was hard to know what to expect from this movie, but I was pleasantly surprised. Ryan Gosling puts in an amazing performance as 'Lars', not missing a beat throughout. A more surprising performance for me personally, was Paul Schneider (Lars' brother) - whos character transformation is quite moving as the film progresses.
I also really liked Kelly Garner as Margo. I'd recommend this movie if you're looking for something slightly different, with some excellent acting and an interesting (and original) story.
