Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Drew B — 22 Jan 2013
Another very human comedy with focuses on mental invalidity (or something like that), and, more importantly, dealing with wacky family. Everyone's got some nuts in their family tree (yes, I am one of the nuts, I know guys) and this movie is really about relating to one another and showing that your family can (and SHOULD) care for and about one another despite, inspite, and usually because of the eccentricities we all exhibit. Its what connects us, our disconnection with reality. its fun stuff.
Psychology aside, I found it very entertaining to watch, though it will not appeal widely.
