Cute, but cute in that, "my mom would love this film" kind of way. Me, personally? The laughs are all in the trailer and after you get over the initial twist on the romance between a man and his sex doll, you stop giving a shit.
Gosling is still an extremely gifted actor and gives a great performance, but with an uninspired script and direction, he's not enough to save the film.
