Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Allie L — 22 May 2013
I absolutely adored this movie, from the very first minute. Ryan Gosling is absolutely perfect, and is now among the few men that I consider wrongfully snubbed for last year's Best Actor Oscar nomination.
He nails everything in this movie; he does not miss a beat. His supporting cast is wonderful as well; Emily Mortimer is amazing, as well as Patricia Clarkson and Paul Schneider. All of the townspeople were cute as hell; their sheer dedication to Lars and everything they did for him brought tears to my eyes.
I just can't believe how much I loved this movie. I have absolutely fallen in love with it.
