Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Critic M — 09 Aug 2013
"Lars and the Real Girl," is one of those movies that is so unusual and that came and went with little notice. I found it to be strangely fascinating and original. A very weird, yet emotional film about human connection.
This one is worth a watch. It takes risks and ventures into that uncomfortable zone of cinema rather smoothly. Ryan Gosling has depth and gives an awkward yet very likable performance. This one is unique to say the least, which is refreshing.
