Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Cole C — 30 Dec 2013
A soulful, shy, and akward look at loneliness and love. A movie that is more than just an innocent man who falls in love with a [sex] doll. The underlying themes about the goodness of people, community, and the innocence of man is what tears away at your heart. Mashes it to a wonderful feeling pulp. A study of the giving and understanding heart.
A soild movie that is one of my faviortes, thanks to the wonderful acting job given by none other than Ryan Gosling who portrays the lonley, awkward but unbelievably heart warming lars.
A++.
