Incredibly funny at times, but so full of emotion you almost immediately overlook Ryan Gosling's creepy moustache, "Lars and the Real Girl" proves the idea that it takes a community (along with a therapist) to overcome mental illness, and that love comes into people's lives in the most interesting ways sometimes.
