Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Owen O — 21 Feb 2014
Given the subject matter this film could have gone for the cheap laughs and went in the direction of becoming a raunchy comedy. And there's nothing wrong with that!
Instead the film went a whole different direction and ended up creating one of the most sweet and sensitive stories about unconditional love and complete and utter acceptance!
The film is upbeat, comical, and at times genuinely moving!
More importantly it was thoroughly Entertaining!
