Review of Lars and the Real Girl (2007) by Kelly K — 15 Sep 2015

This was utterly magnificent. Ryan Gosling is such a talented, well-rounded actor. This film was comedic without a doubt, but it also taught me some very important lessons. It shows how painful loneliness can be.

It also shows how much people can care for each other and how powerful the healing effects of people reaching out to support someone who is hurting can be. It was heart-warming and heart-breaking all at the same time.

I teared-up which does not happen very often with movies. Well worth seeing!
