Review of Larry Flynt: The Right to Be Left Alone (2007) by Giorgos V — 18 Nov 2008
An interesting look at Flynt's battles with the media and the court system to preserve freedom of speech. The documentary is obviously skewed to his position, but is nevertheless filled with lots of interesting historical tidbits.
There's an odd photo-shoot sequence that feels like an afterthought thrown in just because the guy publishes porn; the main focus is definitely on his political battles.
Recommended.
