What a disappointment. My expectations were low -- I expected mindless light hearted formulaic comedy -- it didn't begin to rise to that level of entertainment. Tom Hanks was his usual charming self and was exactly as I expected.
Julie Roberts (who I generally like) was bad in a bad role. There wasn't a moment that her character was convincing or likeable. Hanks is laid off from his long time job, and Foresst Gump like, surrounds himself with a big loving support system so really its a blessing that he lost his job! All around as bad as the critics said.
