The Movie was really good. It's got some moments that are a little goofy, and Julia Roberts is basically grumpy & angry for half the movie. That said, there are some very funny parts, particularly from Hanks himself, as well as some good bits during George Takei's scenes (cell phone jokes that are really funny & true if you've sat through some college courses).
Don't believe the critics, especially if you're a Tom Hanks fan. It's not as bad as they say.
