Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts work hard to lighten up the recession, but fail to convince anyone that there is any chemistry between them, or that middle aged men can turn up at college can so easily & make a new life for themselves.
While romantic comedies aren't the most 'realistic' of genres, they still need elements of realism to hold them together. This one doesn't cut it.
