A middle-aged man who's been shit-canned from his job after 20 years at the mega-store due to the recession? An interesting premise. Unfortunately, Tom Hanks has no idea how to expand upon the film's thin plot, and scenes just compound on one another, and they're not altogether funny or interesting.
