Review of Larry Crowne (2011) by David D — 06 Jan 2014
With an interesting idea, a nice story, a good script full of cute dialogue written by Nia Vardalos and Tom Hanks, a great cast with fantastic performances by Tom Hanks as Larry Crowne and Julia Roberts, with special appearances by George Takei, Cedric the Entertainer, Rob Riggle and Bryan Cranston, and a special cameo by Rita Wilson, wonderful directing by Tom Hanks, a sweet message filled with lots of heart and a fine pace and flow, Larry Crowne is not the best film ever made, but is a movie that is uplifting and enjoyable.
