I have to admit I was really pleasantly surprised with this one. It is very very rare, that a sequel is significantly better than the original. This one was just that. Angelina Jolie flourished more in her role as Lara Croft.
Gerard Butler was a very welcome addition and his on-screen chemistry with Angelina Jolie was notable. Daniel Craig wasn't miissed in the slightest. The film featured more exotic locations and the cinematography was vastly improved from the first.
If you haven't seen the first, skip it and just watch this one.
