Review of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider - The Cradle of Life (2003) by Benedick L — 02 Sep 2010

Could have had potential with a rather ruthless baddie (played by ciaran hinds) but unfortunately the pompous and nonsensical storyline decided to turn it into something more typical. What can you expect though from a video game adaptation? As I have stated in previous reviews, the genre seems to pull in money but never seems to succeed in making an actual good movie (re: resident evil and prince of persia).

Jolie does turn in a good performance, with the material she has that is but even she can't save the awful film this is. See this if it is on BBC (those of who you know me well enough will know the inside joke).
