Review of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) by Phil B — 07 Jan 2011

I'll admit it: Back in the day, when I went to see this movie in theaters, I wasn't very excited about it. Action is generally not my thing at all. But I'm so glad I did, because it's turned out to be among my favorite Angelina Jolie movies.

I watch this and the sequel every time they're on TV and never get tired of them. This is fast-paced, with just enough humor to keep it interesting for those of us who aren't generally fans of the video game/action genre.

I know nothing about the game, so I can't say anything about comparisons between the two. But as a movie, this is great.
