Review of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) by Kim B — 06 Jan 2012
Pretty boring compared to the video game, also where's the adorable old-man Alfred? You can tell the special effects where done cheaply and the visuals could've been much better instead of relying on Jolie's looks to carry the entire film.
I would've liked to see more romance with Alex West and her. The characters were all so stereotypical, overall film is not very memorable. The action was good in some scenes, kind of like a cheap Indiana Jones film with a heroine.
The scene with all those nice cars getting wrecked kind of upset me, they were good cars haha. Rather just play the game for sure.
