Review of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) by Eric S — 08 Feb 2012
This film unsurprisingly borrows all the tropes perfected in the Indiana Jones movies. While competently made, nothing about this one sticks out. Angelina Jolie isn't asked to bring anything to the table besides her sex appeal.
(And she does) It's a good movie by the standards of video game adaptations, but by any other benchmark Tomb Raider is a dud.
