Review of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) by Gde A — 19 Feb 2012
I enjoy this movie because I'm a sucker for movies with strong women characters who rock, and in this case kick everyone's butts! I am aware that the character is also somewhat of a sex symbol (not to mention the actress who plays her) and that it's not very realistic, but what's wrong with a movie not being realistic? That's part of the fun! I do like, however, how there is a bit of a deeper plot line to the story with the complexity of Lara Crofts character in relationship to her father.
Overall, just enjoyable.
