Review of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) by Marion G — 28 Jun 2014
Jolie incarnates Lara Croft's energy and aggression beautifully (in every sense of the word) and the story rattles along. No, it's not Citizen Kane, but what did you expect? There are some funny sidekick gags, there's Daniel Craig attempting to be American, Iain Glen being a villainous ham, pounding music - it's very enjoyable.
If you like the games, this is more of the same. If not, it's probably not your cup of tea.
