Review of Land of the Lost (2009) by James M — 30 Aug 2010
The tv show was a little before my time, so cannot say I've ever watched an episode. However, I could tell that this movie doesn't do any justice to the cult series and it was easier to see why it was a huge flop.
It could have worked as a great kids movie or a brainless adventure flick, but the gross-out comedy in this do it no favours at all. Will Ferrell is completely unfunny and the supporting characters are annoying.
The two stars are for Anna Friel, she deserved a better script after being cast in her first 'blockbuster'.
