Review of Land of the Lost (2009) by Shantel D — 03 Nov 2010
I didn't have too high hopes for Land of the Lost, and this time my expectation matched the film. It does have good moments and I got some laughs, but mostly I just thought that the film could've done better.
I really like Danny McBride, Anna Friel and Jorma Taccone, I even have faith in Will Ferrell's potential, chose he ever to try out less idiotic comedy, and none of them got to do their best. The film as a whole had a lot of potential but didn't use it to the fullest.
Land of the Lost is a mediocre gimmick comedy.
