I thought this movie was hilarious. I am posting a review - for the first time ever because there are so many bad reviews. I expected it to be stupid - and it was! I loved how the movie just didn't even care if what it was doing made sense.
It was like - what? she can speak the primate's language? You've GOT to be kidding me! And the audacity of it is just - makes you laugh out loud. It is RIDICULOUSLY funny. Ridiculous. Anyway, I'm checking it out on Netflix now to watch it again.
Loved it. Definitely not for those who want a "quality - Kings Speech" kind of film. This is just a ridiculous movie - but it is quality ridiculousness. I loved it and totally side with Ebert that this is one great "goofball" film.
Watch it if you want just exaggerated unbelievable laughs.
