Land of the Lost is quite a peculiar bit of summer entertainment. After watching this bizarre film it's hard to figure out who the story was geared toward. Will Ferrell fans? The original Land of the Lost fans? Adults? Kids? Land of the Lost's childish tone and abundance of sexual innuendos clash and make for a very inconsistent film.
Danny McBride does his best to save it but Will Ferrell is grating after only a few minutes of screen time.
